The installation questions the intrinsic essence of what a wall is: rigid, obstructive, strong.

The frames project us in a further, far away dimension, suggesting a portal to another place in time and space.

 

A subtle light shines through the threshold, gently leading our imagination towards an escape or diversion, to a glimpse of the outside.

We are standing in front of an in-between space. We find ourselves inside, looking at what we imagine and perceive as a reflection of the outside.

What we see triggers our imagination.

We peek behind the soft layer that separates us from the cold, inanimate , white wall. Maybe there’s really something behind.
